Peel and stick murals have changed home decorating: no paste, no buckets, no professional installer. But not every wall or room is the same. Here is what our premium canvas is, where it works best and how to get a clean result.
What Is Peel and Stick Premium Canvas?
Our murals are printed on a self adhesive canvas with a textured, semi matte surface. The back is covered by a release liner: you peel it off and press the panel onto the wall. No glue or water is needed.
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Thickness | 95 micron, with a strong adhesive backing |
| Finish | Bright white base, semi matte surface for natural colors |
| Panel width | 39 to 41 inches (100 to 105 cm) |
| Inks | Odorless, water based HP Latex, free of solvents |
| Installation | Self adhesive, cut easily with a sharp blade |
Which Walls Does It Suit?
Peel and stick adheres best to smooth, clean, painted walls, plaster and drywall with a matte or satin finish. Heavily textured walls, fresh paint, bare concrete that sheds dust and surfaces with peeling paint reduce adhesion. If your wall is textured, sand the high points or apply a coat of primer first.

Wait at least three to four weeks after painting before installing. Paint keeps releasing moisture while it cures, and that can weaken the bond.
Kitchens and Bathrooms
Peel and stick murals work well in kitchens and bathrooms as long as the panel is not exposed to direct water spray. Keep them away from the shower area and behind the hob, and make sure the room is ventilated. A dining wall, a backsplash area away from the sink or the wall behind a bathroom vanity are all good spots.

Preparing the Wall
- Fill holes and cracks, let them dry and sand them smooth.
- Wipe the wall with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust and grease, then let it dry completely.
- Remove switch and socket covers (power off).
- Draw a vertical guide line with a level for the first panel.
How Long Does It Last?
On a properly prepared wall, a premium canvas mural stays in place for years. Latex inks are durable and fade resistant indoors, so colors stay vivid. When you want a change, the panels can be peeled off; on most painted walls this leaves no damage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does peel and stick wallpaper damage walls?
On a sound, painted wall it can be removed without damage. Problems usually happen on fresh paint, weak plaster or walls with peeling paint.
Can I use peel and stick wallpaper in a bathroom?
Yes, as long as the panels are not directly exposed to shower water and the room is ventilated. The wall behind a vanity or toilet is a good place.
Will it stick to textured walls?
Adhesion is weaker on heavily textured surfaces. Sand the high points or apply a primer coat for the best result.
How wide are the panels?
Each panel is 39 to 41 inches (100 to 105 cm) wide, and the full mural is printed in panels that line up to cover your wall.
